About Us
Peer Athlete Student Scholars (PASS) is a student-led initiative dedicated to helping every student master the art of balance, discipline, and academic excellence. While we began as a support system for student-athletes, we’ve grown into a community-wide resource that combines structured study habits with a culture of teamwork and accountability. Through our collaborative peer tutoring and strong local partnerships, PASS empowers students to build the confidence and habits needed to reach their full potential both in the classroom and beyond.

Our Story
PASS (Peer Athlete Student Scholars) is a student-led initiative dedicated to helping students succeed both in the classroom and beyond. Originally created to support student-athletes, PASS has grown into a program that serves all students, while still staying true to its foundation of discipline, accountability, and balance.
We understand the challenges students face when juggling academics, extracurriculars, and personal commitments, and we’re here to make that balance more manageable. PASS offers structured study groups, peer tutoring, and academic support designed to help students stay on track, prepare for exams, and build stronger study habits in a collaborative environment.
What makes PASS different is our community. Built on the values of teamwork and shared responsibility, we create a space where students can push each other to improve while feeling supported. Through partnerships with school administration, local organizations such as the Hinsdale Public Library and the Community House, and the broader community, we’re able to provide opportunities and resources that go beyond traditional tutoring.
At its core, PASS is about more than just grades. It’s about building confidence, discipline, and a mindset that leads to long-term success. Our goal is to help every student reach their full potential academically, personally, and beyond.
